The Hackettstown Elementary PTA Board of Directors is looking for immediate positions to be filled for this upcoming school year.  Positions available are Treasurer, Vice President,Recording Secretary and Corresponding Secretary (each position is a 2 year term).  Board members are required to attend the 1st Tuesday of each month meetings and attend PTA functions as necessary. Candidates MUST BE a current member of the PTA.

If anyone is interested in applying for any of the positions, please send a sentence or two explaining your interest to (Jenn Zacchia).

Vice-President:  The vice president(s) shall act as aide(s) to the president and shall in their designated order perform the duties of the president in the president's absence or inability to serve.

Treasurer:  The treasurer shall have custody of all funds of this Local PTA, shall keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures; shall pay out local funds in accordance with the approval budget as authorized by this Local PTA.  The treasurer will make disbursements as authorized by the president and board of directors.  Checks shall be signed by the president and treasurer.  The treasurer shall present a financial statement of accounts at every meeting of the organization.

Recording Secretary:  The recording secretary shall record the minutes of all meetings of the PTA and of the Board of Directors and shall perform such other duties as may be delegated to him/her. 

Corresponding Secretary:  The corresponding secretary shall conduct the general correspondence of the organization as directed by the president, Board of Directors of the Local PTA.

Come to a PTA Meeting, held the 1st Tuesday of each month in the Hackettstown Middle School Literacy Lab at 7:00pm.
